Hello everyone took my test today 05/02/2024. I passed . Everyone in the class did except for one person. I would say everyone was very much winded after the mile run so I would suggest working in cardio. I was scared about the monkey bars on the obstacle but I’m not gonna lie it was someone timing you and she was very encouraging and really was motivating us to keep pushing so I just kept pushing. The obstacle course wasn’t hard however because I was so winded from the run I literally finished at 1:59… overall if I can do it… you can do it, and I literally quit smoking like a week pior to taking the test soo just imagine how my lungs are …. You guys got this I promise you .
Congrats!! Do you know if they removed the 6ft wall requirement??
@@LMills-zr3qiit’s 5 feet now instead of 6
She graduated yesterday, April 29th, as a Medical Dr.
I have this test on Wednesday 🙏
Did you pass it? and it a 5ft or 6ft wall?
How did it go
@@LMills-zr3qi 5 ft. Yes I passed. It’s a very easy test.
@@BatMobile23 very easy test. A lot easier than you think.
@@Sicknxss thank you!

I’ve been extremely athletic my whole life but I’ve never been able to do 12 pull ups lol
This is amazing!
From a police officer to being a life model.
Yeah if you like the state we’re they take your basic rights then complain about there right to own a gun being barely changed
Is there going to be a video from the December graduation??
Your college looks cool
It's unfortunate that hospitals are requiring a COVID vaccine for this program. I absolutely refuse to take a vaccine for any degree program. Stupid policy. Thumbs down.
*Brossard? 🤦🏾♀️Please fix this spelling
Congratulations I can’t wait for this to be me ..
❤❤
Can y'all please post the fall 2023 commencement ceremony
Hi! I just graduated from Broward Dec 14, 2023. I was wondering when will the ceremony be posted? I had family members who missed the live stream and would love to watch it
Feliz Graduación sobrina🎉Orgullo de la familia!! ALEJANDRA RIVAS ESPINAL!

Hi, how you can practice the whole obstacle course before scheduling your test?
Yes
So people that pass without prepping for it or physical shape how did ya manages the monkey bars or what if it can’t be done do they let you skip it ?
amazing!!!!!!!
Just passed it today 10/26/23 and I looked at videos and comments, trying to get an idea as well as preparing myself for it. I ran a few nights a week and timed myself, push ups I never had a problem with, nor upper body strength. I’m in my late 30s now and not that active anymore, so I wouldn’t say it was a piece of cake, but dedication before scheduling your appointment is needed. I’m not good at running at all, however because of the practice I’ve been doing, I was able to run the half mile nonstop by just pacing myself and breathing. It’s not a race and they shout out the time so you have an idea where you are. At the end I surprised myself and pushed, passing 3 people. The obstacle course isn’t bad but I was still a little winded from the run, even with the rest we had but I completed it in 1 min 50 secs
Hey brother, I'm curious about your experience. I've been preparing for a while to take this test and my main fear is the half mile in under 4:30. How did you fare? Any advice? I'm in my mid-30s now, have good strength but I've never truly been a runner. Best of luck to you, thanks in advance
@@RikjaardI honestly surprised myself with the running. To prepare I went running at least 5 times a week and would just try to keep pushing myself more and more. It wasn’t as bad as I thought, just run and time yourself before. The instructor shouts the time out so you know how much time you have left to complete it. Good luck!
What’s the actual first step? As far as interviews, FLDE, testing, etc
@@TashaSoLauderdale hey there! I've been in the process since October last year. First step is to sign up for your preliminary tests which are the CJBAT, Swim and physical (these two are done through Broward College). Once you've passed these tests, then you're able to begin applying for recruit openings, barring any pre-requisite you may be missing. Then you interview (that's where I am right now so I can't say anything further). Best of luck
Do they even have the 6 foot wall anymroe
Hi there, been working out and trying to get ready to take the initial PAT. I'm comfortable with the push ups, sit ups, obstacle course, swimming.. All is good, but I'm having issues hitting the 4:30 mark on the half mile. Any advice?
Would I be allowed to wear gloves for the obstacle course? My hands get very sweaty and it makes it hard to grip
So, I want to update everyone with this. I took this test about 2 days ago. I am 290lbs and 5'10. I wasnt sure if I was going to make it, but I gotta say that this is durable. the 1/2 mile run wasnt so bad and I'm overweight. Just go to your local park and run a lap and then walk a lap. What helped me was running with the group. I knew if they made it, I would. I started off running at a good speed in the beginning, so when I got tired almost toward the end, I pushed. The Obstacle course starts 15 mins after the run. I have NO EXPERIENCE with the monkey bars and I dont have good upperstrength, But I started two weeks before the test and did pushups every 2/3 days. I passed this exactly at 2:00. This wasn't so bad. This is coming from someone that is overweight, but I used to be athletic. You can do it. The only thing that we did not do was the log because it was wet and the candidate that went before me fell, so they cut that out. The pushups was half pushups and they have you count outloud. I wont say goodluck, all I would say is prepare like you would do with any test. Condition at least 2 weeks prior to testing and you're gonna be just fine. Only 1 person out of about 40 of us failed the 1/2 mile run. If you fail that, you arent allowed to move forward in the testing.
At 290 pounds you were able to do all the fence jumps and 6 foot wall jumps in under 2 minutes??? I’m asking because im 6’0 253 lbs and not very confident jumping
Also do you think they would let me wear gloves? My hands get very sweaty?
Hey man, I found your comment very helpful. I'm trying to get ready for the BAT as well, I'm comfortable with everything except the 4:30 run. I've been jogging around my neighborhood but I can't make the 4:30 mark. How was that on your end? I'm not in the best shape of my life but I'm working on getting back there and I really want to do this
@@MisterRecapHereYes Bro, you can do it! Trust me! Just when they call you name, go for it! Make sure you take water out there with you, you're gonna need it after the run and its allowed. But yes, at 290, I was able to get across the finish line. Its durable.
@@MisterRecapHere I feared this as well. I'm not sure about the gloves, no one wore gloves with my group. The Monkey bars have a good grip. Trust me, I did it.

These people treat their adjunct professors like second-class citizens. It is so bad, the adjunct professors were forced to unionise. Even with the union, adjunct professors are still treated very poorly.
Do you have to do the running at the same time with the obstacle course
